Welcome to Desiderata Farm!
We are not a physical farm -- yet. We are looking for 5-10 acres on which to build our house and barn. Currently, we are living in a residential area of Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, Canada. I am originally from New Jersey. My husband, Glenn, grew up here in Mount Pearl. We met in NJ, got married and Glenn decided he wanted to come "home", so here we are!
At this time, we are "owned" by 4 cats, 2 bunnies and 3 halfs of 3 alpacas -- meaning we co-own 3 alpacas with a friend. We had to leave the alpacas in New Jersey, but plan on getting more here in Canada, when we get settled.
